I know how to use F4 to toggle between relative and absolute references in a formula when you click on the single reference. However, there is no direct way to create an absolute reference for a table reference in a formula. You can still create tables frome get with all the benefits they have, but keep the sensible, shorter, easier to read (IMHO) row and column reference style which you can make absolute using $ as required. Excel table column reference absolute Mixed cell references are locked to a row or a column, but not to both at the same time.
